Putting such a powerful chip in a small device that can’t use even a half of its power due to small old-style display, simple camera, etc.- strange decision made only for higher price. You can’t even dock it to a bigger screen for any kind of desktope mode – waste of money. Rather get $400 phone with better camera, screen or both.

I just purchased a $300 samsung in Indonesia… It has a 5000 mamp battery, 3 cameras, and 120 hertz display with clear black HDR. Don’t underestimate the $300-$400 range phones overseas, that’s the high end price range for most people around the world.

i hate when people make dumb statements that makes me feel like i’m defending shitty people like apple. it’s clearly not just “because it’s simpler” and “because it’s slightly cheaper”. they NEED to handicap this phone some to retain that distinction between their premium line and this, their “value” line. if they “raise the price a *little*” to bring the SE forward/modernised, why would you spend the extra to get the premium line? keeping this distinction means they can grab budget shoppers but the people that wants the fanciest shit have to pay the premium.

this is a dumb argument to make. i expect so much more from you.

The only reason to get the iphone Se 2022 in my thinking is if you really must have the home button , if that is your line in the sand then it’s a good phone and can you put up with the downsides of it.
