Just buy it for your old parents and grandparents. End of story. You’re a normal consumer? Get the iPhone 13 series. You a pro user and need that high quality camera for easy videography and photography? Get the iPhone 13 Pro.

Apple has really come far to seggregate their consumers based on the type of use. Same goes for the Mac lineup too.

I think the iphone SE with the body of the 11 would be phenomenal. I bought an 11, and personally find it to be the best phone you get, and feels very brand new for something that came out 2-3 years ago.

I personally wouldn’t pay $429 for a meh phone, personally. Id price it at maybe like $50 less? Regardless, it is still a good value for an Apple Product.

Considering the iPhone 12 mini is $599, it’s ridiculous to suggest the SE should have anything extra at its price point…better/bigger battery, second camera module (ultra wide or zoom, night mode), better and brighter screen, 120hz, mmwave 5g etc…the phone would then have the same features as flagships and you don’t sell a flagship for $800-$1000 and then one that’s just smaller for $429…tiered products exist for a reason…if you added all those features the price would HAVE to go up…to what $550? $600? Not enough people would choose it over a 12 mini just for the home button if they were similar prices so the SE has to exist as it is or not exist at all…

It’s putting a v12 engine into an old camry without changing anything. Yes, the camry is ok. But if you put a v12 engine into it, it’s going to chug the small fuel tank and burn the tyres, while not changing the fuel quality. But with other mid range cars with everything balanced, looking at the old camry with a v12 engine just isn’t a good look

The new SE is great for like your grandparents (I’m in Highschool, so it could be your parents if you’re much older) where you probably gave them an iPhone with a home button, where they can now have an upgrade and don’t have to learn anything new
