I would’ve been sold to upgrade from my SE2 if they let it do dark mode on camera.. losers.. it’s capable of it yet they lock the feature

4:52 That’s why we buy the phone, because we liked it before and we know what we’re going to get. All of that new technology and three cameras, full screen doesn’t appeal to me at all, it looks really nice but I don’t want it. Even when I see people selling them for $400 online, I say to myself my iPhone SE 2020 is more than sufficient. Plus you know how many tools I can buy with $400? Tools making money, phones down!

I think the iPhone SE is genius! I have the 2020 version that I purchased about three months ago, I came from my iPhone 7.
I don’t want one of those new fancy iPhones, the iPhone 7 was more than sufficient for me, and the iPhone SE2 is more than sufficient for me. The only way I would buy the 2022 iPhone SE is if they came out with a SE plus, Then I would consider purchasing it used.

Managed to pick up a brand new iPhone 13 for $520 and loving the decrease back from the 12 pro max. Have went right off big phones.

I can appreciate your logic regarding what they could do to improve this phone but the more improvements would mean the more sales you’re taking away from the iPhone 13. small changes are made to this phone for certain Americans with only so much money to spend but also I have heard the intention to use this price point to move the phone into other smaller markets internationally where android is dominant.

I currently have an iPhone 8. I have had this phone for 4 years now and I am looking to upgrade soon for longer battery and better processor. iPhone SE is the obvious choice for me. I don’t care for a bigger screen. My current iPhone is plenty. I like the convenience and tactile nature of a home button. The extra features of the flagship phones do not interest me in the slightest for the huge jump in cost.
I make videos for a living and if I wanted a camera with optical zoom I would use my mirrorless. I don’t even have to buy a new case for the SE since it is identical to my current phone. Really a no-brainer.

Can use with mask
Can use without looking at phone
Faster than Face id
