I have the SE 2020 and im more than happy to skip this one until either they do a better SE with better body and screen or one of the OLED iPhones with A14/15 gets discounted enough

My gripe with Apple is that they simply refuse to spend a single cent on development costs for the SE.
Everything on this phone is either old or an existing part from other models. The physical body is 5 years old and looks terrible with those borders. There are Android phones costing less than $200 that look better than the SE, it’s appalling. But alas, Apple has to protect the more expensive models, in particular the mini. To me it’s just a lame way of covering the low cost segment without any effort.

Will you use 5 year old phone another 5 years just because it will support it ? 😀 Thats the question.. like if they just take the XR and make it the “new” SE ,, for 400€.. that would be okay.. Avarage price outside America is 550-570€ for 128 gb (usable storage).. almost 600€ , not 400:. its 1/3 more the price… What kind of device you can buy for 600€ ? just little more and you will get:
iphone 12 mini 128 gb.. for 640€..
S 21 for 128 gb 650€
Oneplus 8 pro 128gb 570€
Oneplus 9 128 gb 620€
Zenfone 8 128 gb 630€
Xiaomi MI 11T Pro 560€

and now look at those phones at the same price.. you can get 3-5x better phone, with the same performance but much better cameras, displays, features.. i know how ip 8 shoot..i was working as phone seller , and i know how ip 12 mini shoot, s 21 or Oneplus 8 pro.. its not match there. .. so maybe in Murica it worth for 400€ ,, outside world is 1/3 more where “new” SE has no chance against competetion at the same price.. there is nobody with brain that will pick the SE over Oneplus 8 PRO / Oneplus 9/ S21 / Zenfone 8 / or at least iphone 12 mini..

25% price increase from the previous model. 29.99 box price, plus $20 to bug a charging block. That’s a $50 increase from when the previous model was released.

Don’t be silly, don’t buy it androids at this price offer way more features, and are just better devices in general that can even compete with the big boy £1000 phones, stop letting ap le rip you off ffs.
