Using iPhone 8 Plus ios 16 and battery life is bad but when I turn off location services and put the Lockscreen wallpaper to wake up while using shuffle the battery last longer along with turning on low power mode

iPhone 8 on 16PB1 is awesome. Everything that’s suppose to work does and without many bugs. I haven’t found any bugs that stop you from completing tasks. That being said, battery life, as expected, is atrocious. Don’t expect all day battery life right now. If you need strong battery performance, stay on iOS 15. Otherwise, upgrading is warranted.

I think it’s awesome that the iPhone 8 gets so much fun and so many features out of iOS 16 when you take in to consideration that it’s the oldest device supported by the software.
R.I.P. my iPhone 7 Plus which didn’t make it this year but I’m happy for the iPhone 8/8 Plus owners.

Dear Brandon I am running 15.5 on my iPhone X. Since IOS 16 is under beta stage which may have bugs thereby affecting device performance. Will upgrade to iOS 16 when it will be available to public in September. I think Apple should give some missing features like dictation feature & some others which are otherwise not available to IPhone 8 & X. Very nice video.

The battery actually is not doing well with this IOS16PB, on total time of usage you got (2:57pm – 3:28pm = 31min), and the battery went from 82% to 67%, what is a total of -15%.. so basically your battery is draining 15/31= 0,48%/min.. my old ip8 plus on iOS 15.5 i was getting 0.32%/min.. so is not that good (personal opinion)

I’m actually surprised on how well iOS 16 is running on the iPhone 8 considering the fact that it’s one of the oldest iPhones out there. Other than battery life, iPhone 8 is a good phone for iOS 16.

Does anyone else seen a drastic increase in system data?? Mine sits at 20gb on the ios 16 public beta.
Earlier on ios 15 it was around 10-11gb.
