No hard feelings Lew, but the way you used the measuring stick i would not 100% trust your results. For example at 7:20 you need to measure with the tips on the front of the measuring device to get an accurate result.

Mitutoyo makes some of the best measuring instruments in the world. As a CNC machinist, I use their IP68 coolant proof version of their 6 and 12″ digital calipers. I’ve had them since 2012 and they are still dead nuts accurate when checked vs OD mic standards or gauge blocks.

I have an 11 Pro Max and the battery health is 77% and there’s a minor crack on the the screen as well as one of the back cameras already being replaced so instead of paying to fix them all, I’ll just get the 14 pro max, I feel like I’d notice the 120 refresh rate and faster chip and (supposedly) better camera system.

So to help you. Mitutoyo, Starrett, and Brown & Sharpe are the high endachinist tool brands their micrometers and calipers are considered to notch. Altough micrometers are still way more accurate than calipers.
