With inflation on the rise and salaries not following suit it’s only a matter of time before people stop the yearly upgrade. Also, in as much as it’s Apple going down this crazy route currently, the shameless android manufacturers will follow.

With all that said, I’m not sure if I’ve been watching the videos on this channel on lesser quality or the video production quality has been improved on this video. Regardless, great job 👏🏽

I don’t think this is a big deal, the A15 bionic is already 2 gens ahead of anything android has, and Android companies shouldn’t follow suit because THEY will really feel the effect when their customers who aren’t as loyal as Apple customers stop buying their phones.

Apple produces ony flagship processors wheras in the Android world there are many differnet processors. So Android already does this and worse. I rarely agree with Apple but this seems to be a smart move.

I’m not an apple fan, but in their defense, I think chip tech has gotten so high that hoping to upgrade on a yearly basis honestly is no longer for the massive improvements, but just for the numbers (imo). Most consumers WILL NOT even notice the performance difference anyway. If this move will cost them less, well, great.

Chips upgraded from 13nm to 9, to 7, to 5 and now 3. It was bound to stop at some point😅
