Q Snapdragon or Mediatek or Exynos are so far behind latest A series chips, Apple is confident that not any chip maker will challenge even a year old Apple SoC on performance… 😂More than cost, this is Apple’s way of flexing, key being new iPhones with older chip will sell in millions than “pro” models. How they market this will be funny to watch during launch of iPhone 14. May be something like, “…our year old chip is still second fastest in market, just keep buying regular models peasants…” 🤣

The thing is Apple can get away with it because their A15 is already so fast like you mentioned. But this, Samsung cannot copy because they will lose sales so fast. Just imagine Samsung shipping Exynos 2200 in the S23 or S23+, with all the stick it’s receiving now. As if it’s not bad enough that users get an inferior chip( to sd) now they are gonna repeat the same chip for the 2nd year in a row. All hell will break lose in the Android tech world lol and I bet millions of users will dump Samsung for good. Android consumers are not Apple consumers, typically.

Very possible for the iPhone 14 to lose support before the pro variant as Apple always hinge dropping support for a phone due to the chipset not Apple to handle the new OS. This is crazy.
