Why would i want a display with a hole in it? Even the punch holes are bad. This ‘island’ is awful and would ruin the immersion of any video. Like a big black slug stuck to my screen. No thanks

it’s still a notch! only worse, because it it more towards the center of the screen. they could have just made a smaller dinamic notch.

– I just realized that the new iPhone 14 doesn’t have the little hole for the sim cards? What do you have to do to have the phone work with the sim card you currently own? Or is it a different process once you buy the phone?

I would truly appreciate the answer to this process.

im impressed at two things, the way the pill cut out is used is very smart and never seen anywhere else , and their always one display has not much to do with the always on i had and still see on android phones , cos none of the one i saw retain the colors and the wallpapers , most of them are just black screens with the hour, and some widgets… + satellite connectivity is quite a big deal and could save life i’m sure.

I guess it’s decent. But so many question remains. I do think it’s not a bad concept for now. Maybe they’ll shrink it down as time goes by.

That always on display has to be taxing on the battery life. They didn’t wanna make it look like android devices so they went a different route but it’s too bright and not dark enough to conserve battery like android phones.

So I have the iPhone 11 and have a battery issue where it’s max charge is 77%. I was just going to fox the battery and call it a day, then saw the new iPhone stuff. Should I use this chance to upgrade to the new 14pro, or just get a battery change and wait for the 15?
