I have a 13 pro max and I’m chillin. No need for a new phone until someone can do no notch whatsoever, that’s what I will upgrade to. I’d do it right now if someone took the front facing camera out.

iPhone 14+ ? For nostalgia it is where the biggest increase in sales apple ever had. iPhone 14 max is to close to the pro max. People still can not say the XS, X ,XR instead of 10 everyone still calls it the “X”R

I like my phone to be small. The current 5.8“ of the 11P are great. I tried a 13P in an Apple Store in comparison and 6.1 is still on the edge of „fine“ for me.
I wouldn’t buy such a big 6.7“ phone
(if smaller exist), because for big content, I have the iPad.
Smaller phones are better to carry as well.

I have not upgraded my phone since XS Max, mainly due to the fact that the notch design hasn’t changed much. But my phone memory is now getting maxed out and the battery is running on fumes. So , I am planning to switch to the new pro model where the phone will at least look a bit different.

I really wanted to wait until Apple gets rid of the notch completely , but given the history of Apple waiting for ages before adapting a new tech, I am not hopeful that the notch/Pill cut out will disappear completely by next year. So I am kinda out of options now. Can’t switch to Android due to the fact that I am invested into the Apple ecosystem with a lot of different Apple products.

I upgrade my iPhone every four years to get the last trade-in value on the old iPhone and the discount on the previous year iPhone. Next year I would upgrade from iPhone XR to iPhone 14 after the announcement of iPhone 15. Since the iPhone 14 is supposed to be no different than iPhone 13, I might go for the iPhone 13 if offered at a cheaper price.
