Damn this video spoke to me so hard. I’m a “up and coming” YouTuber ig (just starting out with content creation but hopefully I can just get a regular job in the film industry when I’m older) Who uses the iPhone as the one and only camera and edits off of an iMac in Final Cut Pro. I got filmic pro this summer when I was working as a videographer for camp. The iPhone 12 promax was the only camera I used for this job and absolutely no one had a problem with it. All the footage looked incredible and FilmicPro was really a lifesaver. I don’t understand why Apple won’t just add manual focus to video in the camera app or any of those other amazing features like temperature ISO etc. I really do think the iPhone camera is just a genuine camera at this point if you know what I mean but yeah it’s not replacing Hollywood anytime soon but I see no reason why the average Youtuber would actually need a Camera anymore.

for me I upgrade from se 1st gen to iPhone 13 mini this (year 2024) if secondhand or iPhone 16 if either brand new or secondhand.

Yes I recently got my iPhone 12 Pro which was an upgrade from the 8 plus. I was most interested in the LiDAR but appreciated the various improvements over the 8 plus.
