My iPhone 13 is an idiot. How was my 8 so much better? Me: “hey Siri directions to ____.” Siri: “you mean the one option with the exact name you just said? Are you sure? That place only has 2 ⭐️ on Yelp. You really wanna go there?” Me: “yes Siri, directions. There. Now.” Siri: 😒 “yeah no we aren’t going, that place sucks.” [SILENCE.] 🤦🏼‍♀️ also faceID never works. Oh and Siri doesn’t wanna call the people I ask her to. “I don’t have that number.” GIRL YES YOU DO AND MY 8 CALLED IT IMMEDIATELY FOR YEARS. I feel like when I was a kid and got a Furby and then was subsequently bummed as it dawned on me that I thought it could do way more than it could.

The screen, camera, & battery are great. I just feel like there’s a knock off Siri in here or something. Lol

What will you choose between a used iPhone 12 Pro Max (1 year and 4 months old with 85% BH) and brand new iPhone 13? I mostly use phones for online classes and for watching series/kdramas. What is the better phone to have? 😭

You’re spot on about how often normal people upgrade their phones. I just upgraded from galaxy note 9 128gb to the s22 ultra 256gb and the difference is absolutely massive

Upgraded from my aging 8 Plus to the 13. It’s a fantastic device and I’m liking Face ID more than I thought I would. The notch is probably the only thing I don’t care for, but that’s a small con.

iPhone does not even have a White Balance adjustment option in the Camera App. All apple does is introduce these fancy pants features like Cinematic mode

There is more to a phone than the damn camera, which isn’t that good, regardless. The one major drawback to the iPhone is how poorly it handles music. Any album transferred to the device has to be removed and transferred a second time before it will appear as a single album by the same artist. In other words, transfer an album of 20 songs, and your iPhone will list it as twenty different albums with one song each. Delete these and transfer everything a second time, and it will appear as one album containing 20 songs. And every single album you ever transfer over to your phone will do this. To make matters worse, if you transfer a compilation album featuring different artists, it will never, ever display as one album containing a number of songs by various artists; rather, it will always appear on your iPhone as multiple albums containing one song each. And that’s just how poorly an iPhone handles music. Try making a phone call in a hurry. You better hope you remembered to leave the phone app on the keypad screen when last you use it. Otherwise, you have to navigate away from contacts, call history, or the last call made before you can make a new call. This is a phone, isn’t it? Receive a call, then try to turn the speaker phone on. The iPhone is a clunky UI wrapped around an over-hyped smart phone camera. And that’s all it is.
