i was using the XR up until a month ago and upgraded to the iphone 13.

and i have to say…i didnt notice any major differences other than the camera. even the camera is still kinda mediocre to me.

I have a 7 Plus and am planning to upgrade to 13..should I do it?
Edit:Just upgraded to a new iPhone 13!!!
And it’s great!!!
Edit 2:Last Night I charged my phone
It was at 100% as of 6:45 AM IST
It is around 4:45 PM IST and my battery health is at exactly 61%
10 hours and only 40% battery depleted
I had an iPhone 7 Plus
Had i did the same with that phone..it would have been discharged by 12 pm IST

I switching to iPhone 13 from iPhone 6s Plus… And I agree this device is a big upgrade from Older Generation iPhone like 6 or 6s… (I still consider iPhone 7 and newer still a great phone and don’t need upgrade now)

The Battery life are so great… it’s long lasting and can through my 1 day… compare my iPhone 6s plus who need charge every 5pm… The A15 really fast, and stable.. the display is beautiful… it’s oled 1080p… the bezel so small (But I’m need comfort my self from big bezel to small bezel… I’m frequently accidently touch the side of display.. need 2-3 days to make myself getting into it)

The Camera… still good and great… same as iPhone 13 pro series (just with bare features as pro series)… The night mode? I really like the result. ProRAW? ProRes? kinda like classic apple feature “i have a pro series and you just standard series”…Camera Bump still annoyed me… as the iPhone cannot stay flat on table… the flat side design really comfortable as the old iPhone 4s.

5G? Just got real? Not matter for now… but it’s a feature for future

The Face ID really blazing fast… but it can’t use at landscape mode… Still annoy me little bit.. but it’s okay… i cannot use reachability feature easily as the iPhone with Touch ID

Headphone jack? Really? I just switch from iPhone 6s and i don’t have airpods… AND didn’t include Lightning to 3.5mm on box… i need bluetooth headset or dongle..|

The point is… I really like this device and happy with it.. as user who have iPhone 6s and switch to newer iPhone like 13… and don’t need any pro feature who “worth 999 usd”

Tbh 2-3 years is ideal for me. Typically a 1 year difference isn’t that big, but if you keep your phone 4 years plus you tend to get worn out ports, speaker, battery etc…
