I don’t know why someone would pay for an iPhone when Xiaomi exist, then again my wife has the 12 and probably gonna upgrade 🤷🏼‍♂️. Me, I still have my One Plus 6T

Shame Apple felt the need to lock out independent repair from fixing the screen. Makes it difficult to recommend this phone to anyone that might use in a work environment (Or anyone at all!). Hopefully the Pixel 6 will be the first Android to offer a reasonable length of operating system support. Three years on a minority of phones, big whoop 😞 Not!

Even though the pros are better I feel like you get much more value from the regular 13. If you have an older phone and you want to upgrade, you have to pay only 50€ to get the 13 instead of the 12. But if you want to get the new 13 pro max you have to pay 300€ more. And the biggest new feature is the new adaptive 120hz display (which is not even “true” 120hz, probably to safe battery time). So who knows how well that feature will work if the phone gets older. But if you are into bigger phones and you prefer a longer battery life and you are willing to pay the jump in price, the pro max has its benefits.

For me, the reason I will buy an old 10 or 11 instead of this, is the charge port.
I will stick with a new phone for 4 years, and I don’t want to have the hassle of those bloody lightening cables for another 4 years.
I will buy a 2nd hand 10 or 11, and wait to see if the 14 has USB-C, or wait another year for the 15.
