I had to upgrade, I have the 11 pro max and verizon is giving $1000 for trade in so I had to upgrade to the iPhone 13 pro max.

This review basically feels like an overcomplicated justification for how Apple hasn’t completely gone to shit, when in fact, it has.

When you have to dance around and use metaphors to justify the most minimal of upgrades at a ridiculous price, something is wrong.

The Pro and Pro Max are disgusting money grabs, overcharging out the ass for their components, charging a lot more for inferior specs or performance compared to its competitors’ flagships.

Apple has been playing catch-up for a long, long time now. That’s why they had to essentially alternate cycles with the big Android phones because they know if they released at the same time, they would be embarrassed. This is the only way they can claim they’re somehow better, for a few months, until reality sets in and we’re all reminded that these phones are actually a joke.

iPhones are uninspired garbage these days. And this comes from the guy who saved up money in my teen years to have enough to buy the first one in cash after waiting at the mall all day long. Line wrapped around the entire outside, then the entire inside, barely moving. First few generations were something special, but everything else has been a dumpster fire and an embarrassment to what it once was.

My question is how heavy is your “heavy” use? I generally play games that are high on graphics and memory use. Can the iPhone last 4 hours if I am gaming like that while making a video call cause I am thinking of buying an iPhone by next year?

I was coming from the 11. Planned on getting the 13 Pro Max. And then I watched the Apple event and concluded it just wasn’t worth the money. Was able to get the 13 for a bit under $500 and will wait to see what the 14 Pro Max brings. The 13 is definitely a welcome upgrade compared to the 11 that I had. Plus it basically has all of the same features as the pro phones except for a few minor ones that to me aren’t even worth it. I was really hoping Apple would match Samsungs zoom camera this year but they didn’t even try apparently.

Also, I’ve had black phones for years but decided to try the blue one like in your video. It’s sweet. Loving it.

I got the pink iPhone 13 on launch day and this has been helpful. Aside from the camera quality I was struggling to distinguish the improvements from my previous generation
