Love my iPhone 7 Plus; Bought other phones. But still go back to my 7 Plus. Even though it is my 3rd iPhone 7 Plus, due to having 3 iPhone 7 Plus batteries going bubble up. And the iPhone store taking the phone to the back room really quick once the saw the problem. Gave me a replacement 7 Plus each time as soon as they could transfer the data off the old phone and give me a replacement rebuilt phone within hours. The Notch once gone will be the next iPhone I buy. Sounds like the iPhone 14 Plus Pro Ultra. Should be out in September just when the Covid Travel restrictions are lifted. September, can’t wait. Or can I 7 to 14, how many years is that???

I used Android as long as it existed. I never wanted to go to apple because of the stereotype that it was super expensive and android does everything better.

Last year for some odd reason I finally decided to get my first Apple product which was the IPhone 12 Pro Max. It took a couple of days to adjust to the new UI but when I did I was hooked. It’s not that Apple does everything better, but the things I do use seem better and easier. Their Apple Maps I use more than Google. Google used to mess up on its destination in some cases but even in those cases and any other time Apple has never let me down. The sound seems better, I hasn’t crashed on me. If I want to take a picture as an average point and shoot person, it takes good photos. It’s apps aren’t cutting edge but they work, work well, and are simple to use.

The design of apple isn’t cutting edge although it feels solid but it gets the job done. Do wish it weren’t so slippery though and many cases affect the wireless charging.

So I do like Apple. It doesn’t have to do everything, it just needs to do what it does exceptionally and to the run of the mill average smartphone user Apple fits that bill. Can’t speak for any other of their products as I don’t own any but it’s a solid fundamentally sound phone..

Just came from a Xiaomi mi10t pro to a 13 pro max and I can say with absolute certainty that the battery in the iPhone is truly atricious compared to the Xiaomi, along with keyboard lag across the entire phone and the slow transitional animation throughout iOS making the phone seem sluggish. I’m extremely disappointed

Love it, answer is not much, and you perfectly explain why the 14 pro max will be my last phone for a few years.

You can have a battery percentage on the Home Screen but it’s just a widget called “battery”. I actually think it’s better as it tells you each individual air pod, the box and any other Bluetooth battery powered device
