Why don’t smartphone manufacturers keep the same processor for the following year and improve every other aspects and keep the pricing more attractive. They can do this for every 2 or 3 years, or depending on how capable of new technologies their chip sets are. Such as keeping the 4G chip set for 2 to 3 years of 4G and then switch to a newer 5G chip set as soon as we get 5G. Keep one processor for every 2 years and if needed or if the situation demands in order to support a newer tech, update within a year no problem. This way people will stick to their phones for a longer time and our environment will be a bit more green and fresh. This is one environmental friendly idea from me. Think about it for a sec.

That said, I still hate the contrast over loaded images from this iphone 13. Way too much. Made the images pop though. Also, please do a comparison of this phone with oneplus 9 pro.

THE BIGGEST REASONS ARE ECONOMIC$

-same chassis being used for many years translates to cost reduction YoY
-Hardware changes are done incrementally to keep down the Bill of materials
-limiting the hardware saves money on software development and testing costs
-So yes….. they know where to spend money…ON HYPE….

– disgruntled Android user who switched to iPhone 12 pro max.. only to be disappointed and turn back to Android

As far as not coming with a charging brick it kinda makes sense the more I thought about it. I use both andriod and ios and both devices will get pretty low at the end of the day ( usually less than 30% but always under 50% ) but regardless is still alive at the end of the day and my old chargers are perfectly capable of charging over night so it really doesn’t make a noticeable difference for me and I would say a majority of people though I am starting to worry about my s21 ultra battery. I’ve had it for a few months and it seems like it’s starting to drain faster which shouldn’t happen so fast it’s noticeable.
