The problem for me with this is despite a brighter screen and better battery etc and , it’s still the same as my xr , same apps running at the same speed , still got the terrible folders etc . I’m not expecting apple to change anything radically but come on , at least try and make it different enough to be worth the upgrade .

Cinematic Mode is nothing big, its still wonky like crazy in SuperSaf test, tested next the the S21 Ultra they both look like gimmick features and nothing more. 120hz screen exist on nearly all the major phones now, nothing big about that either, as the matter of fact Apple is late to the 120hz party. The only real upgrade worth mentioning is the battery and CPU power, thats it. That whole excuse about “oh they didnt give you a lot of features because they want to refine it before giving to you” is dumb. Ive seen other phone company given their users new features and continue to upgrade it and build on it over the years and its been fine. Just sound like a lot of excuses for not giving users more features, in a more straight forward term, Apple is just giving us small incremental upgrades to milk the heck out of their users and thats all there is to it.

Honestly, iPhones just don’t cut it anymore. Seriously guys, come on, if we are all phone tech fans here we all know very well that what Apple is doing and has been doing for years just isn’t what we want anymore. Just men and women who simply don’t care about features and/or specifications are the ones who hop on the Apple bandwagon year after year but us? Our kind? No way. I bet you the grand majority of users subscribed to this channel along other phone review YouTubers like MKBHD, JerryRig, LewLater and many more are smart people, tech enthusiast, Android Users. Enough said, if you want to add money to Apples pocket be my guest, but just know that’s not the smart move and you’ll be caught in their ecosystem just the way they want you to. You tool 🙄

As powerful as these chips are, I look forward to the day I can put an iPhone in a dock, and boom, it pops up on my computer monitor as it’s own system, like Samsung’s Dex.

You’re right. They don’t have much reason to innovate. They do have competition that’s out pacing them, but they will never be able to match what Samsung and xiaomi is doing because they just sell soooooo many different devices they flood the market, so they don’t worry too much about it because the biggest part of the share Samsung controls is outside the price range of the iPhone anyway. With that said, I’m typing this on the last iPhone I’ll probs lay ever own, and I got this for free or I wouldn’t own it. I prefer my s20 ultra and it will also probably be the last Samsung I buy for several years. They got rid of must have features for me.
