The battery life on the 13 pro max is ridiculous! I’m getting around 12 hours screen on time, I’ve NEVER had battery life as good as this on any smartphone.

Can you try giving hotspot from your Iphone 13 pro max to your laptop? I tried it with my 12 pro max and lasted around 8 hours, just curious to see how 13 will handle it

So the thing is apple have a loyal fan base and intelligent or ruthless way to lock a consumer to a particular os i am 100% sure even if samsung bring the optimization as apple with all its feature (many of them are already optimized except for some )still they aren’t going to beat iphones plus samsung releases like 20+ phones a year and its extremely hard to optimize all of them nearly impossible rather than just optimizing 3 phones a year

apple withholding bleeding edge tech to capitalise on it in the future is a very greedy and one sided approach. the customer/consumers interest should always be considered first, as in the long term consumers can leave if they are being used and abused. tech companies of the past are an example of this. removing the notch won’t spell the end for innovation, screens and displays can still get better with 4k displays, punch hole, then under screen, then 8K displays, then higher pixel counts, then higher refresh rate of 144hertz, 160 hertz, etc. for apple to think that customers will wait around and be played with the same tech on repeat, is brand suicide. apples basically playing a dangerous game of russian roulette with apples own brand, hurting it self in the process. customers will always be interested in the bigger better deal. that’s just the fact of tech world.
