I switched from an iPad Pro to an iPad mini and the refresh rate doesn’t bother me at all. It’s a feature overrated by tech reviewers.

I’m more hyped for 10Hz than 120Hz. This phone has a smaller battery than the regular 13, but has better battery life. Insane.

Maybe I’ missing something but it seems like USB3.1 over Lightning wouldn’t be that hard to implement. Has anyone tested file transfers on one of these to make sure they didn’t?

I’m sorry am I the only one that notices that “cinematic” video looks absolutely awful? Am I crazy here? Looks like the first portrait photos from cheap android phones. It’s really bad, I don’t get why people aren’t calling out apple for that crappy implementation as much as they did Samsung for their crappy “portrait video” couple of years ago.

Yeah, I’m always really sensitive to Higj Refresh on screens period. Hell, in certain situations, I notice my eyes will kinda go into the equivalent of high refresh mode, so IRL I notice much less motion blur for a while.

Well I’ve been using the iPhone 7 Plus (128GB) since it came out. So naturally 5 years of using the phone left me with a phone that can’t hold a charge at all and I notice the phone being laggy & heating up more often than not. I’m glad I finally got the iPhone 13 Pro Max (256GB). I’m going to assume that this is going to be huge & very noticeable upgrade.

I agree with the 120hz discussion. I have had a galaxy S20 for almost 2 years. I was considering getting the iPhone 12 earlier this year. When I walked into the apple store an picked up the sample iPhone on display, I immediately noticed the 60hz display which was a deal breaker and walked out of the store. Once you go 120hz you cant go back.
