I’ve been that 60Hz guy since I got into smartphones. Just this February of this year (2022), I bought a phone with higher refresh rate – 90Hz. I can say that I do not want to go back anymore to 60Hz. My eyes and the overall feeling of scrolling through phone using 90Hz is incredibly silky smooth. But, man, 120Hz? That would be perfect. I think Apple should manufacture iPhones with 90Hz minimum for the regular iPhones and upgrade the battery to compensate for the upgraded refresh rate.

I have this iPhone and also the 12 Mini. I notice it is very slightly smoother but only because I knew to look otherwise don’t think I would notice. Best iPhone I’ve ever owned though.

Our TV is in standard 50Hz mode because the “fluid motion” of 100hz is irritating to me, I prefer shooting 24p when filming content because it’s filmic. I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t mind about the hz at all. Then again I’ve got my main display running at 30hz because the GTX680 can’t feed all the screens connected at full speed, and at first it was a bit annoying with the cursor being skippy but after a while I didn’t recognise it anymore.

I’m one of those that after experiencing a120 hertz refresh rate find it a little difficult to use a 60 hertz phone. It literally makes my eyes uncomfortable especially with the LCD screens.

Upgraded from an IPhone XS to the 13 pro, apart from the big battery life and improved camera, there is no other big difference, sure it’s a bit faster and screen is prettier but is it worth the extra grand, idk
