I’ve avoided upgrading since the iPhone 6 by not watching videos like this or playing around on new phones and I was always more than satisfied. . I cracked my screen a few weeks ago and was about to get it fixed and then I just thought “why don’t I get a new phone and I saw they recently released a 13” ( I was honestly shocked they were up to 13) The lack of a headphone jack, the notch on the screen and no home button was a put off for me on the new phones because I hate cordless headphones and I often use my headphones while charging. The battery life and the camera on the pro max sold me because I moved to the Dominican Republic and every few days or weeks there is no power for for up to 24 hours and I can finally document my trip with a good camera. I do worry I’m going to be more focused on capturing moments now and not living them , which was partially why I never put too much stock into the camera.

This is purely anecdotal, but I have noticed that there are a lot of people who don’t seem to notice high refresh rate displays even on things like monitors. I sold my roommate my 240hz monitor when I wanted to move to a 144hz IPS display and he wanted to do more competitive gaming. It took him a long time to really notice the difference. At first he said he didn’t notice it at all which confused the hell out of me cause 240hz back to 60hz makes everything feel so slow. Idk maybe some people just don’t feel it as much but I feel it a ton moving from different refresh rates.

I owed iPhone 12 pro max and iPhone 13 pro max.
I prefer iPhone 13 pro max rather than iPhone 12 pro max.
What i notice is that iPhone 13 pro max is much more smoother than iPhone 12 pro max, I download the same apps.
iPhone 13 pro max battery is btr than 12 pro max.
No regrets selling the 12phone max
