Another excellent review and there is never a need to upgrade your iPhone every year due to the nature of IOS but apple always makes a compelling case by small incremental improvements that just work. Never the first out of the block but when they do something they do it right. If your are team 11 or lower and you have the cash to splash I think it’s an unregrettable move. But at the same time not necessary!!!

I can’t wait till my 13 pro arrives. I have had an iPhone 6s for three years now so going from a “trash” phone (>2hr battery, terrible camera, home button, etc.) to a buttonless, 120 refresh is going to be so weird but so worth it.

I notice that shooting a pic with the telelens gives a sharper and more contrasty photo than shooting with the standard or wide lens. I think it is too sharp and contrasty. Same for shooting video. Are different algorithms used per lens? It gives the watercolor look.
I’ve made a RAW picture with the telelens and did adjustments in LR. It looks a lot better. But let’s not forget that 12 Mpx is not much and the sensor is rather small, so don’t expect that a large print will look great. It is however good enough for a A4 print or for putting it on the internet.
What strikes me most is that when shooting video and zooming in from the standard lens to the tele by using the 3x button it sometimes gets very blurry, but sometimes it is ok.

It really depends on what you do with the phone. I’m on a 12 Pro and currently have 3hrs 37mins screen on time and battery is at 71% remaining…that’s crazy for a 12 pro if the 13 pro’s are so much better. I have to say and I could be wrong but the battery on my 12 Pro seems to be better since IOS 15 was installed. But battery/type of use…It’s all relative really. Great Review again MBKHD…but hey….of course it is 🤟🏾

Would it not be better Apple switching to some long-term changes, like bringing out a phone every 2-4 years and working on significiant changes?
So it would give the iPhone a way higher value to have a “new” phone for a longer time.

Man, I love your reviews on tech in general, but I do have a feeling that Apple is paying you to promote their Useless iPhones. They are literally expensive for no reason. There are thousands of phone can do much better than Iphone. But what can you do, people have different tastes, and I do admit they built a solid foundation for their product.
