I got the 13 Pro Max and love it, I upgraded from the 12 Pro Max and noticed the ProMOTION display’s higher refresh rate right away. However my husband who uses an iPhone 12 Pro played around with my new phone and said he could not tell the difference. I think it is going to be one of those things like you said, he will need to use a higher refresh rate screen for a while then go back to a 60hrz screen and I bet he will see the difference.

I went to best buy and without knowing I was playing with a iPhone 13 pro miss labeled on the table as a iPhone 12 pro and noticed the screen being much faster right away compared to my 11 pro.
