Hey guys. I waited years for an upgrade and thought this was the year I get the 13pro. But from leaks I’m seeing the net year’s 14 will be a refresh in design so I’m assuming the 13 will get old real fast. So should I get the 13 now and get 14pro next year or just get the 13pro and sell it next year for 14pro?

No crying here.
‘Minor’ upgrades it’s fine. Not meant to be upgraded each year anyway. So let’s say iPhone 8 user will appreciate it, even coming from iPhone 10.
Not to mention that Apple always very careful about implementing new tech since it all got so much at stake – and will only do the tech which is already ‘checked out’ by others and all flows ruled out. Don’t forget how badly iPhone ‘bending’ worked out for Apple years ago – they can’t make same mistakes with such a wide users base.

When Google releases their new Pixel I think its going to be much better than this but not many people are going to recognize it because Apple as always has already got all the hype with their new flagships. This is always what happens with these more high tech companies such as Sony and Google – they tend to release greater hardware or software experiences than Apple but not everyone is ready for it or it is poorly marketed compared to Apple products.

About usb-c iPhone in the future: the EU has submitted a proposal for a law, which requires all phone makers that sell in Europe, to use usb-c only for all ports (plus no charger plugs in the box). This includes Apple, so next year the new phones should all have usb-c, by law.

Still doesn’t seem like a huge upgrade to me so I’ll be keeping my 12 pro Max till the iPhone 14 comes out next year!
