The notch doesn’t bother me a whole lot, but would be less annoying personally to me if the operating system would just keep it the same all the time. No rotation, just time, network and battery constantly.

I went from a iPhone X to a 13 Pro Max. Right off the bat noticed it was super smooth. Screen color was better. The camera… Jesus night and day difference. One mistake… I put on a camera lens protector and my camera sometimes finds a hard time adjusting focus. So would not recommend. I haven’t really gotten the chance to go out and snap some really good photos but I can’t wait to see what I can do.

I respect that I’m probably a sample outlier, but my measured screen time on my iPhone/iPad is hardly ever above 4 hours a day combined, so there is a relatively low point of diminishing returns for me on how big a battery really needs to be versus adding the extra weight for it.

The reason for pro res being capped at 1080p 30 fps for 128 GiB models is not that the 128 GiB storages are slow by choice, the number of 128*x would actually have an effective multichannel memory(storage), and hence a much better bandwidth. But also, the TBW for lower specced storage is lower due to there being lower NAND gates to flip which would effectively reduce the lifetime of the storage(and thus of the phone) and if not limited, would lead to one killing the storage of the phone in let’s say if you shoot 30 min pro res (4k 60fps) every day, that would mean a year.
Which is going to feel like shit if you were the manufacturer who has a warranty on a product since those repairs are effectively done by swapping the motherboard.
