I’m like you Thao, Android guy, always have been. However I purchased my very first iPhone (13) the other day. Supposed to be here today. I just wanted to give it a try and see how it goes. Probably end up really missing my S21 Ultra, but who knows. Gotta give the iPhone a shot.
I know you married to be respectful im in love with you ( in a good way ) 😌
What is the big magnetic kickstand on the back of the phone at the end of the video?
I have been using Samsung Galaxy Notes for the last 10 years. I got an iPhone 13 from work but going from Android to ios is such a downgrade. Sure its a well built phone and it all depends what you’re used to but Android definitely has the edge. My iPhone 13 hardly ever gets used at all.
Yeah. You’re right. Not exciting at all. I tried to jump to Apple ecosystem, got an iPhone, and Airpods pro. The airpods was great, but I wasn’t statisfied with iPhone. I was unable to say sideload apps, transfer music library, ebook collections to iPhone. I was unable to play YouTube ad free, or on the background while doing other things and in a locked mode. That’s the problem to me, I feel like I couldn’t customize the iPhone in the way I wanted to. For example, if I wanted to change a ringtone or add music, I had to hook it up to computer. No offense, Spotify or Apple music. And I just used it for maybe less than 15 days to try. It was not bad, but I was really missing my S21 5G, and it just renewed my commitment to samsung actually.
TEENS with an average income of $68,000?
I was a sucker for flagship phones. Got the flagship iPhone, then switched to Android, got the flagship phone. I was paying a ton of money for cellphone contracts + the extra money to insure the phones. Then one day I saw someone using a Samsung A50 and realised I have been doing it wrong for all these years. You really don’t need a flagship phone in 2022, the midrange phones are crazy good. If my phone gets stolen or stops working, I’ll be buying the Samsung A53. Simple.
Hi Thao, Happy new year. I don’t think it’s too late to be saying it. 🤷🏿♂️
Can we get a pixel 6 pro living with video
I always find it odd to hear tech people talk about switching back and forth between IOS and Android. I understand that you have to test and compare, but it seems like an inconvenience with no real payoff. I don’t trust them.
Worried there for a minute and then she said she’s an Android girl and all was well in the World again… Nice one Thao 👍
As Android user who’s recently had a quick experience with an iPhone 13 what struck me most of all was the lack of settings within the apps and awkward way of app switching with no multi app. Heck I am so accustomed to that with my S9+ that I am quite comfortable using two apps side by side, taking data from one, inputting into my pop-up (like a non maximized window in Windows OS) Calculator and copy/paste the result into a target app.
And I acknowledge… the problem is not of the iPhone, it’s just me being to complicated to fit into that ecosystem.
Wait so these 10,000 teens surveyed each have an average income of 68k per year?! Can we get a follow up study on what types of jobs they’re getting.
To be fair to the young ‘uns, imessage pressure isn’t a new thing. I remember when my younger cousin and all of her friends used to have blackberries, so it used to be BBM pressure. I think it is mostly a young person thing, though if there are any grown adults like that then I agree, I wouldn’t want to talk to them either.
💙
My teenage daughters just pressured me into getting an iPhone 13 pro max and I do miss some things about my Samsung but have to admit I am enjoying the iPhone
It’s a great width and height. It feels good in the hands as Flossy Carter would say, but I can’t get over the lack of customization. I just can’t use an iPhone for any amount of time. It’s just gawd awful. It’s a boring phone that forces you into a box. I really don’t understand their appeal.
85% of them have an iphone because it’s a status symbol like Jordans. It’s the popular thing to have.
There are things about Android that I have become used to having that would annoy me if I have a phone that doesn’t have. In fact…owning a Samsung phone…Good Lock is amazing!! With that…my onscreen keyboard is exactly what I want it to be…I use side swiping to go back and launch multitasking and access recent apps…and I can apply 3rd party icon packs on the OneUI launcher. Good Lock is a must have for any Samsung owner.
Love the “I’m more of an Android kind of girl”!!!!! Keep the vids coming!!
