I’ve been on both sides. My first smart phone was a HTC 1M8. Was amazing. Loved everything about it. The speakers bumped real hard. Switched to the 5s after the the charging port legit broke on the M8. Loved the 5s at the time. Growing up my hands got bigger and the 5S was just cramped. Well….. that and I forgot I had it in the pool with me for like a half hour lol. So I upgraded to the 6s plus after 3-4 years. My 6s was amazing. Till I dropped it while biking and the OIS on the camera went out and my screens pixels slowly started going out. “Screen cancer” is what I called it back then lol. From there I really wanted to try the android side again. Picked up the galaxy note 8. That shit was the absolute tits. First big screen, 4K oled screen. The iris biometric and fingerprint on the back was a fire combo. Sadly it got ran over after it fell out of my pocket while I was out for a run after only having it for 4months. Fuck small pockets on sweatpants. Sis came in clutch with her old iPhone 8 that I used for 4 years till I saved enough to snag a 11PM for like $750 out the door shipped with a case and screen protector. Love both sides of the game. Although fucking iMessage has me by the balls in my family and friend group chats. Gonna snag the 14PM when it comes out for sure
For any Android user out there. I am a long Android user since it’s early days. This year I wanted to go for Apple iPhone 13 pro. I ordered it, got it, used it for 2 days and not happy with its restricted and limited layout at all. Right away I miss these features:
– No split screen functionality
– No Secure Folder ( samsung knox )
– Notch ( it feels big compared to samsung punch hole camera )
– No fingerprint scan
– It is too heavy
– Keyboard ( I think GBoard is best, i even tried installing on iPhone but it keeps switch between apple keyboard, and it does not look the same)
The only thing I liked about iPhone is its design and battery life. This phone is more of a status symbol for people rather than heavy functionality usage. I have already opened case for return, not sure if they’ll accept but I would only recommend it if you are a normal user who wants basic functionality but if you care about above mentioned issues, you’ll definitely notice them in your daily use.
Thanks
YES YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN APP FOLDER HELLO..
7:46 Swipes work according to the most common logic! Where did the window come from, you return it there. You need to swipe in the opposite direction of the introductory animation. Think about 😉
8:16 Just choose Video Mode in Camera App and tap to [4K 60] (for example) icon which will be found in the upper right corner for switch Video Resolution.
Nice video! 😁
But what is the average family income with kids and by location? This survey misses a huge portion of kids that use phones.
I just used the oneplus 8 (not pro) and battery and speed it at a different level – at a fraction of the cost of iphone 13.
Under screen fingerprint scanner suck so no, Face ID is perfect. And 120 is such a gimmick.
I could take Samsung’s / Android lagginess. Got tired of seeing the “app not responding” pop up. The camera would lag in that after I took a picture due to the slow lagging nature it would still be processing the shot as I’m putting the phone back down therefore not get the shot I was aiming for. I will never get another Android phone. Biggest mistake. Back to iOS.
I have an iMac, Mac Pro, M1 Macbook and an iPad. I did, at one point, have an iPhone 6S. But, even despite not having Airdrop, I find that I just get so much more use it of Android. For productivity, I find that Android is just so much better. If I just wanted to take phone photos, browse social media, or watch videos then I’d get an iPhone. But absolutely none of those things really matter to me during a typical day.
I’m sumsung user from last 8 years I believe that iPhone is top-notch phone right now in the market but 83% teen in America only use iPhone to be honest its bit sad that they don’t love difference and try to explore gadgets and technology yet bashing android from 2013 which is almost 10 years ago.
apple products is for blind people lol
Your music taste is well chosen! ♬ Keep your videos fresh and entertaining.
that un-universal back button… for me is enuff reason for not using iphone
Apt and unbiased review
Repping Canada and Android!!!!! Thats a subscribe for me!!
But how does it make sense, Samsung manufactures the displays for iPhones.
Another great video from you, Thao! I’ve been an iOs user for almost 5 years now and have finally decided to switch back to Android with the S22. I don’t use apps that are built in to respective OS’s as well and you’re right! I’m not dependent on just one which makes everything a breeze. I’m excited to receive my phone.
I keep going back to iphone they have good battery good os apps are optimize better
