Dunno why, but almost every reviewer bash Applel for the NOTCH as if the company is brutally dumb and cant figure out how to make a phone with no notch andn a punch hole instead without even talking how much more tech an iphone have there compared to Andnroid flagships. Do you really believe that Apple are so bad that they literally cant make a phone with just 1 hole camera ? As for the tech inside the notch…. its subjective who wants it and who dont, me personally , i love face id andn all lthe scanners and security of it compared to just 1 camera and if the ugly notch is the price that i need to pay so be it. It is ridiculous to want all the sensors and stuff gone just to have a single hole.

Except for Eco-system and Camera. I still miss Samsung when I use my Wife’s S10 plus even today. While my iPhone 11 bought at the same time has the okayish screen. planning to switch platforms next time when we buy new phones. After using S2, Note 4, S8 in past and S10 plus , iPhone 11 is making me miss Samsung again.

It’s not “almost” like a piece of jewelry it IS jewelry. For me Iphone is a “girly” phone. Women like this phone because its shiny has nice colors and is completely outdated comparing to Android phones. It’s like this beautiful old gold ring your grandmother gave you

It is not that there is a problem with either OS. It is just what you prefer. Like the Androids at the budget line are so notoriously known for slow phones from unremovable bloatware, ungodly malware, and very poor build quality.

When you buy an iPhone you know what you buy. A phone you know that will just work with little problems.

As humans we hate change. So when you go to a new OS you will be actively be looking for every reason to hate it and go back to what you know. Just common sense and psychology.

I love both operating systems, but just prefer iOS.

10 years of iPhone and now Samsung.
Samsung is a true smartphone. iPhone cannot even come close in terms of features.
With Bixby routines, my phone is fully customized for my routines from going out, driving, work, and back home. Fully automated. That’s how a smartphone should work.
It adapts to us.
Not us getting adapted to it like i used to with the shitty iPhone

I can’t wait to upgrade to s22 ultra also can’t wait to see that iPhone 14 with the whole punched screens that LG and Samsung will be manufacturing for Apple. I don’t hate Apple I just prefer Samsung cause Apple is more boxed in while Android isn’t and let you do far way more with many features.

I was having a conversation with a friend the other on this topic. I think the iPhone does indoor photos WAY better, and overall is just more reliable. I have a note 20 ultra and a iPhone se 2020 version and even the little se is just more reliable/ consistent than my note. Still prefer Android but can’t deny the reliability of the iPhone

I can’t deny that Apple makes solid hardware. I only hate the notch from a hardware perspective. But I think that their strength was how they marketed iOS to consumers. No other company marketed so well and developed a following.

But Android has been the superior software and innovative for the industry in both hardware and software. The innovation is a blessing and curse. With experimentation comes failures and inconsistencies, then refinement. Google and their phone manufacturers have relied too heavily on the tech influencers to market the platform. The average consumers doesn’t know and understand a solid identity for the Android platform.

I think Google and/or Samsung needs to market the platform and hardware features. Just take a page out of Apple’s playbook and market heavily in between device launches. Give consumers reasons to stand in line to get devices for very specific reasons. Apple piece meal together features over time.

I think Samsung is the best competitor to represent Android. They have always been a leader in the industry to push the envelope on hardware and features. Look at this list.

First to push 6+ inch smartphones.
Multitasking.
Fast charging.
Built-in customization.
RCS.
There is a lot more. Samsung on Android has the largest ecosystem.

Android will not be the dominant in the U.S. market until they scale down the menu of devices and explain what the platform can do for average consumers. Tech junkies understand. But nerdy folks aren’t known for being extroverts. The billion dollar company (Samsung) and the trillion dollar company (Google) need to work more closely.

Their efforts paid off with the S21 series. The S21 Ultra has been unanimously crowned smartphone of the year for 2021. Best software experience on Samsung ever with great hardware!

Google should give up on Pixel! Focus on software and let Samsung do what they do in hardware.

I like the whole Samsung apple ecosystem, I dislike the pride behind people attacking each other, the whole owning an android is a turn off is just mind boggling but I can bet it’s from girls because that’s how they behave in my area. Anyways Google is just entering the ring so I can’t wait to see what they’ll have to offer in the next few years but for now I’m with Samsung because you can basically connect your whole house with the ecosystem from fridge, washing machine, tv(different types too), desktop, laptop, tablet etc with major upgrades ahead. The future is here 😂

So, I don’t know how many of you have heard about this, but my daughter filled me in. There’s an idea amongst tweens and teens that Android phones are for those less fortunate. I laughed when she told me this because this damned Flip 3 was like $1k! I guess when teens see a green text bubble, they’re all like “ewwww”. Ridiculous. The same goes for dating out there online. Nuts.
