Hi Rene, thanks for the very informative, nicely presented video. Have some confusion about what phone should I go for. My main uses are bit of lots of calls and casual photography (including night or low light photography) and some video calls and average amount each of web surfing, social media, youtube videos, music, games. (I’m based in India, btw.)
Can you please tell me …
1) Which mid-range phones to go for? (Preferences – bloatware free, mostly stock android and able to withstand a bit of rough usage)
2) Which is better for daily average use, iPhone 13 / mini (or is Pro better) or Pixel 4a / 5a?
3) Will Pixel 5 / 5a be launched in india? Is it advisable to wait for Pixel 6?
4) Also, which chipset is better, Mediatek Dimensity (Moto Edge 20 Fusion) or Qualcomm Snapdragon?

Hi Rene, have you gone back down to the Pro size now that the only difference other than display size is the battery life? If not, is this because have you adapted to using the Max size? Currently using an XS and trying to decide between the Pro or Pro Max. Is the difference in screen size between the XS (5.8) and standard Pro (6.1) a nice noticeable upgrade for everyday usage/Pokemon GO? Pokemon GO looks so good on the Pro Max screen!!

It’s stupid to replace Touch ID with Face ID (unless they want to have an excuse to have our image on file🚩🚩🚩BIG Privacy NO NO 🚩I have found it so frustrating to use my new 13pro max I am returning it after 14 days🚩it’s just a good camera and that’s it a good camera not a good phone and not secure when it gets to unlock it opens randomly 🙄

Ritchie, you know that human eye can see 60Hz screen refreshing, 10hz or 24hz on your screen will look like garbage 😀

The iPhone cameras are capped to 12 megapixels and that’sfine. But when i do check details of my shots. Most of the rearcamera shots are 9 megapixels, and the front camera picturesbe like 5 megapixel quality photos. Only 1 out of a 100 stand outto be a 12 megapixel photo. Why so???
