Finally variable refresh rate and 120Hz, brighter display, better cameras with macro…
Next year just add usb-c, remove the notch, add an in-display fingerprint reader and you finally get an s21 ultra

Again, and again, 3x optical zoom* is compared to the WIDE lens. 77mm is more like 1.54x from standard focal length that would be circa 50mm. 77mm is not bad, though, as compared to the 12 Pro (52mm) and even 12 Pro Max (65mm). (*) And technically speaking this is NOT optical zoom, but software zoom. You have 3 FIXED focal length lenses : an ultra wide, a wide and a short tele**. Software zooms between the fixed focal length lenses and apparently does a great job at it. Yet, technically, not an optical zoom. (**) 77mm is kinda sweet spot for portrait. Makes the decision for me to go 13 Pro not Max (too big).

I have XS max and Im upgrading mine to the 13 pro max this year because my XS is all cracked sadly and the battery life just doesn’t cut it any more but im so excited to upgrade

2027 iPhone reviews will be on YouTube Cinematography focused channels. Nor much seems to change much any more. Not Apples fault. We’re at the same plateau when the original iPhone was released. We need another game changer.

USB-C
Why don’t you youtubers understand that you guys are not the only one on this planet, there are other people too and they do not want USB-C.

You guys already have lots of expensive alternatives to transfer data n all, why do you guys always complain “usb-c-usb-c”

Apple is a brand for everyone not specifically for you youtubers, they take decisions on the basis of their costumer base.

Super irritated I can’t use my Apple Watch to unlock my computers while my phone is in sleep mode if I want sleep tracking or morning alarms on my watch. This wasn’t an issue with the previous OS.

If anybody knows a way around this that’d be rad.

In my experience thus far Face ID has significantly improved in one aspect: angles! I no longer have to lean over my phone on the desk or counter to unlock it. This is a massive improvement that I feel is flying under the radar, possibly because we are all so used to leaning over our phones to unlock them that we haven’t even realized you don’t need to anymore!
