Perfect timing as I’ve been contemplating if the 16″ MBP I have is being wasted on me (as a non-creator) and I’ve been exploring why I’d do instead. This gave me a lot to consider especially as this is the year to look at the M1’s coming down the pipeline.

I have both the iPad Pro and the Mac Book Pro with the M1. I am not a video editor or anything like that. All I do is a lot of pdf editing and document signing. Let me tell you, I miss my Surface Pro 7. It remains the best over all computer I have ever had. It had a touch screen, vibrant display, responsive-enough stylus to sign documents, and face id. Too bad it had Windows and all the problems associated with that, but over all, it was the best for me.

The iPad has truly revolutionized the way I take notes. I can literally see the increase in grades from when I got the damn thing.

Although it’s cool being able to play games on a MacBook I also figured that if I want to play games ill just play them on my desktop.

These you tubers only show you the 11 inch iPad Pro!!! The 12.9 iPad Pro is a beast, and way better for drawing then most tablets and drawing monitors, along with great music production. I have a 5000 dollar gaming pc, and I am doing everything on my iPad Pro more then the PC.

if apple brings key changes on ipad os 15, making it competitive to dex and chrome os, they can succeed, if not, its still more like mobile os than of mac os, as saying laptop replacement, which isnt unfortunately. so hopefuly they add certain desktop apps and better file management like samsung dex!! (u can say me to buy macbook rather, but for people like me, i already have gaming pc and laptop and i want ipad as my travel laptop replcament just in case, i go outside!!)

I used to had ipad4 but then since im not using it much, i gave it to my bro. And here i am now buying the ipad 8 😅 since my laptop broke, i feel that i did not need much heavy work, mainly just entertainment, games and some browsing, note taking and ebook reading. And i did not quite regret it tbh. It’s convenient, but it wont never replace the actual laptop
Macbook line will be overlapped by ipad if it is 🤣🤣
