I think, in my opinion, the visual aesthetic of the new IOS 16 is like child’s play, made for the kindergarten age group. A complete disappointment! It doesn’t sound like Apple at all, not the kinda thing we used to expect, a professional aesthetic appearance from Apple.

The one thing I don’t get about the haptic press for editing the lock screen is can’t anyone that pick up your phone then edit your screen, and also, that would pull up your photo album etc. ORR is it still using Face ID to recognize you before/while doing the haptic press???????

As a former Android user who switched to Apple two years ago, I’m shocked at how many of these ‘new’ ios 16 features have been in Android for years. Always on display, Lock Screen widgets, text editing, and haptic feedback typing. Most of these were on my Nexus 4 back in 2013. I’m still glad to see IOS getting these features but seriously. I guess better late than never is an apt description for this update.
