My phone arrived early. I was so happy. Im going from the Flip 3 to this phone, and I think it really is improved after barely just a day of using it. I really love the bigger “flex window”. The improved functionality is really good. Also I like the design of the Music widget. Just visually, I like the way it looks with the album art being in the background. I feel like I’m using an ipod or something being able to see a music player on a small screen, but I like this one better than the flip 3/4. And also the battery life is definitely better than the flip 3. I kind of ignored the flip 4, but this one is worth changing to for me. And with the Good Lock MultiStar app, I was able to add a calculator and samsung music to my cover screen so I can start playing music from there. Also I like the build of it. It feels nicer to hold for some reason. I don’t really have anything to say about the camera because it’s good enough. Also I don’t know if i’m imagining it but the display looks way better. I watched this 4k music video on there and was super surprised by how good it looked. That makes me think that it didn’t look as good on my Flip 3.

For me after using the Flip 3, I felt like I didn’t want to go back to slab phones. Even when i got a refurbished s22 Ultra (for a hypothetical situation that I go to a concert), I ended up missing the Flip 3. The folding factor really makes it easier to use the phone less, and there is just something about it that’s really nice.

I have been watching reviews of the flip for the past week and you are the first one that pointed out what I consider to be a major shortfall. I assumed wrongfully that it included DEX capability just like every other flagship and I had just confirmed you are correct by looking at my daughter’s phone that I had just bought her. In this case, it doesn’t really matter because she doesn’t use that feature but it is still quite surprising and many people might be assuming it’s there when making the purchase. We’ll done Ella!

Flip 5 is definitely targeted at a mixed market.

Content Creators/Light-Gaming is probably the best mix suited for it.

Also, Samsung in general offers better app customization and support than its competitors. But I hope they don’t slow down in this aspect.

In-app tuning and settings are always great at personalizing our Flip 5 to our unique style.
