I don’t care if that truck wipes me after the toilet, I’m spending gonna spend over 35k for a Ford, let alone 100k for a Ford EV. I’d rather spend that on a fast German… And that’s coming from a guy from a family of mechanics and Comp Sci Majors…

The ford ev mustang is the dumbest card. Should have named it something else or atleast made it an actual ev mustang not that weird suv they went with. They did do great with the f150 ev

I don’t think EV trucks are there yet, but the Lightning is a first real step towards that inevitable future. Range and recharge times on EVs are still the hang ups for most people who want/need a truck, and there’s also the oft ignored fact that America’s power grids aren’t anywhere near ready for a mass transition to EVs. That said, I applaud any advancement in sustainable transportation and the Lightning is certainly a step forward.
