I’m actually surprised that you only got 280 miles. I believe from your impressions video and Ford’s clarification that they said “300 miles with 4 people or a full trunk bed. Unless you were hauling or had 4 ppl total all of the time it should have been above 300 miles 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’d wager that 90% of people actually don’t need their F150’s. They just want a big “american” car, and they hate the environment. They bought F150’s not because of their utility, but because it makes people that care about such things angry. Electric F150’s are going to fail for that reason. Sad.

My only issue with a full electric pickup is the range when towing. I tow a fishing boat and some of my trips can be 400km long (round trip) and are in areas where there are no charging stations to top up. 0 chance I’d be able to use this truck unfortunately.

Would love if truck companies made a plug-in hybrid at least for now until electric stations are everywhere or battery tech advances enough to have awesome range.
