This vehicle’s existence literally only matters to the US, Canada and Mexico. Of course it is important to those markets, but it is not as important to the world as Toyota finally going electric seeing as the Corolla remains the most sold car nameplate in the world.

Definitely want to see that electric Toyota Compact Land Cruiser concept come to fruition. That really got my attention, my guess is that they are going to call it the BZ Cruiser, as call back to the FJ Cruiser.

Do you want a good example of how this is just like every other F150 (instead of ‘futuristic’)? It has an exposed antenna for radio. Lots of cars have dropped those for hidden ones.

Also, bravo to Ford for getting this out ahead of everyone else (save Rivian). I don’t think I ever imagined they would get such a big lead on so many others (including Tesla who is 1+ year away it seems)

It’s great to see EV’s being treated as tech appliances — there is so much room for innovation. It’s like the development of smartphones which took on so many features that the original feature — calling — seems like an afterthought now.

I came to this video having just watched Jerry Rig Everything and his experiences with his Rivian. It’s a great time to be a tech enthusiast.
