Ford has had some recent hang-ups, most likely due to the deboggle with the pandemic and subsequent shutdowns, on top of rather normal first batch production teething errors, culminating in many warrantee recalls. BUT although we dont like to see hear nor have first hand experiences with such issues, i will still point out that Ford has been hitting home runs with its vehicle line up for well over a decade now. Fact is.. we cant really knock on Ford the way we use to in the past. Theyve been producing great products that we really do love. Products that for their price, truly do embarrass higher tier competition thats suppose to be untouchable at their price points and claim to fame. The pandemic has cause many problems for many companies , some having closed shop all together, you can imagine the pain from auto manufactures during not only shutdown but also supply chain shipping bottlenecks. and resorting to other vendors that are not up to speed. So we really gota give Ford a bit of a break for their recent mishaps. They are not the only ones facing manufacturing and quality issues as a result.

90K!! how do people not bat an eye at 90k?? Should do a video on the Ford Maverick; that is an amazing vehicle. 20ishk for a high MPG and useful small pickup that would work for 90% of most pickup owners today. An all electric version will be better, but 42MPG city, will make it a best seller for years, and 70k cheaper then this lightning!

Yep and one of the best things is unlike lots of other electric vehicles and it all being built around that, the lightning was built to fit a true f150 frame. It wasn’t built around the vehicle, the vehicle was built to fit the frame(without sacrificing anything), while still keeping it a true electric vehicle. Plus its starting price is cheaper than others too(supposedly). That made it keep its power/pulling/etc that you’d normally see with a f150.

It’s always funny when Americans (in this case MKBHD) even though they give examples about how this truck is popular in the US, still call it the future of electric cars in the “WORLD”. it’s funny, it’s not even something they pay attention to haha (It’s not that we don’t have trucks in my country, but they’re always either Japanese or Chinese, never seen a Ford truck in my entire life, and we’re talking cheap gas ones, so imagine how even impossible to find the electric ones would be).

This is great! If the comment section of a Rivian video on Facebook is anything to go by, truck owners are frustratingly ignorant and stubborn about electric cars. Something like this might actually make them listen.
