To clarify a point, the independent rear suspension isn’t due to the battery pack. At least, not entirely. The new suspension is because they wanted to add a full-size spare under the bed, and the only way to do that was with an independent rear suspension. That’s why they’re cantilevered out rather than straight vertical, too.

I’m not a truck guy, so I ordered a Mustang Mach-E. but that Mega Power Frunk is GREAT and darn near had me get this truck instead. Ultimately not being able to fit the truck in my townhouse garage (and maybe my wife’s hatred of trucks) was the deciding factor.

So a dude that lives 5 miles outside of NYC is supposed to get people interested in EV trucks.
Too bad it won’t interest 90% of the RURAL truck market that see this as an unusual gimmick that doesn’t fit their needs and can’t compete with gas or diesel trucks.

How much does the range drop off by cargo weight? I’ve owned 2 Teslas before and my guess is that the range drops SIGNIFICANTLY with any decent sized cargo load

Also, unlike Tesla, they have actual quality control so your expensive new purchase does not come with a laundry list of defects – it’s the little things like actually being able to make cars that count…
