A few things. First nice truck. Ford invented the moving assembly line not the assembly line. It might seem pedantic but there is a huge difference and common myth.
Towing and charging will be an issue. Most charging stations today are back in / pull in stalls. Not conducive to towing. Depending on total weight dropping range in half is probable.
This is an excellent first EV Truck from Ford. Still a bit of work to do. I’d love to see Ford put pressure on gas station chains to put in chargers. That will be the driver of EV sales.

I have a 2018 F150. I wouldn’t mind this for going back and forth to work, with in city towing. Long distance anything is still a hell no. Also the design is that of a traditional truck. Unlike chevy and tesla, f150 feels right. The price needs to drop though. XLT starting is insane.

Here in Europe, you couldn’t find that many buyers for this monstrosity, electric or not
Like, why would you need 20 power outlets in a frame the size of an elefant to drive your children to football practice?
It seems a bit overkill

For a lot of F-150 owners, I think the Frunk is reason enough to switch, especially if you have a utility box in your bed. I’d guess there are some people who would be able to go from a 6.5 ft bed to the 5.5 ft bed just because they can lose the utility box. I’ve been wanting to buy a truck, but will probably hold off until I can get the Lightning, specifically because of the Frunk. They’ll probably be able to get people who wouldn’t buy a truck because of the secure storage issues. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. I think they’re going to steal a good amount of orders from Tesla.

5:19 What if Ford runs an advertisement about the use cases of the lighting EV trunk and, after stating all possible use cases, they conclude by saying you can also put a human body in it and quoting MKBHD on it? Lol 🤣

The second and the last F150s in the montage (both a black F150 truck) with the arrow pointing out how many F150s are everywhere in the USA – are the same vehicle (same license plate).

EDIT: And I’m pretty sure the two silver/gray ones before the last F150 (one passing the red one, and then in a close up view) are again the same vehicle just from two consecutive shots.
