Then you got Chevy with the Silverado EV, that looks like a futuristic Avalanche. Though I like the interior of the Chevy more, and it’ll probably have more tech in it, I prefer the look of the lightning.

Gotta hand it to Ford for being the first to bring one of these electric trucks to market. I personally drive a diesel F350 platinum and I wouldn’t want electric but I know there are some folks out there who would take one. Cool looking truck. I guess the more people we get into electric vehicles, the more oil is left for the real men to use.

Honestly, I hate trucks but the F150 Lightning actually makes me want to consider it. One of my biggest gripes with trucks are that all that bed space is not really usuable for everyday tasks, most people driving F150s are not using it for it’s intended purpose as a truck (ie hauling and towing) and it’s big/loud/fuel guzzler. The Lightning fixes almost all of those for me and that front power trunk is so useful. Why don’t more electric vehicles, especially the built from the ground up electric platform models, have an actual big useable frunk? I really think Ford hit it out of the park with the F150 Lightning and I would choose this over the Rivian R1T and the Tesla Cybertruck and most other electric vehicles.
