People who underestimate that pick up truck buyers want to hear that roar of the engine when they floor it are going to fail miserably. This is not a truck for pick up truck drivers, this is a pick up for people who want a pretty truck.

Honestly i think ford still needs to figure out the name for their electric vehicles. The mustang is called mach-e and f150 the lighting. I think it should be a good thing to be consistent in the name.

forget flying cars.. if you told someone 10 years back that their truck’s front engine bay area could be used as trunk storage because it doesn’t need an engine, they wouldn’t have believed you.. they still would’ve believed in a flying car

My only concerns with the Lightning is that Ford’s run into all kinds of issues with the Mach-E. I don’t know if I can trust the Lightning until at least a couple years of actual production so they can iron out the wrinkles. I still have a Cybertruck reservation, and if Tesla ends up jacking up the price they originally promised unreasonably, I’ll be looking heavily into the Lightning.

I love trucks, mostly Rams, and I don’t like many f150s, but this actually seems promising. My only problem I could see with it is that it doesn’t have a loud engine, and I love loud engines
