The only issue with this is that it unironically won’t sell with F-150 buyers because they love their gas powered diesel vehicles. They don’t care that the electric vehicle is better they want that mf gas power!

honestly the only thing holding this truck back is lack of charging locations in rural areas and southern states. The F150 is extremely popular down south yet, most common areas (grocery stores, parks, restaurant parking lots, schools) don’t have charging locations. Once these stations begin to pop up more, you will see the sales for these trucks go through the roof. it’s a no brainer not to own one.

“Price as shown: $90,874” this is why all electric vehicles are not the answer to fighting climate change. By the time they are affordable for everyone (top end models maxing out at 28K) it will be far, far too late for them to make any difference.

Good 1st step, but still some way to go for it being a real replacement for ICE F150’s for most users I think.. Nobody really cares about it being quiet en “smooth”, it’s all about practicle usability.. Plus side is the extra space with frunk etc.. Down side still is the range and time it takes to charge, especially when hauling heavy loads and/or a trailer over longer distances.. We’ll see how it works out in the coming years..
