I can’t understand why this hasn’t been the case with EVs from the start..
They were always some “futuristic” ugly weirdly designed cars that stood out. No one wants that. People mostly want a practical car that’ll do the job. This does.

Elon Musk is a super smart guy, but unveiling the Cybertruck five years before he had any chance of building it was a huge mistake. Ford and Rivian should be thanking their lucky stars to have a three year head start on Tesla in this segment.
