I mean i don’t know how you guys live in US, but for 90 k I can buy a house here in Spain, that thing can have as many power outlets for your hairdryers or wtv you plug to you car, but I don’t see who would buy it in Europe, and not even competitor in Europe
Marques didn’t even mention Bluecruise, Tesla is going to have some real completion on its hands not getting the Cybertruck on the market first
On TFL they charged their electric mini from dead to full charge from their ford lightening
5:17 😂
Why do they keep the nose that big if there is no engine? That battering ram is not safe.
U mean galaxy of picking trucks
Worst video quality brother. Didn’t expect that bad production quality from you
love watching your intro more than your actual video sometimes!!!
300 mile range is 200 miles to short
3:11 I really wish you didn’t have to upgrade to premium features just to get the _LED light bar headlights_
The Teslas, Rivians, Lucius got the door open to EV acceptance. The Lightning is the one that I think will knock it open for a good chunk of those holdouts that currently intentionally or unintentionally mock EVs.
Because of how “hidden” the EV aspect is I think those driving it will be impressed and once they realize it’s 100% EV, have to begrudgingly accept this new-fangled technology isn’t as bad or scary as they thought.
Much like finally getting that new iPhone and excitedly telling the kids/family about the awesome “new” feature(s) they’re discovering. Yes, yes, finally welcome to the family!
I got a Tesla in 2016 which had 290 miles of range. After 100k miles driven in 3 years, 290 became 255. I own a roofing company up north and do a lot of driving. I sold the Tesla and now drive a RAM because range became an issue. I’m sorry, but the range is just not good enough if you’re going to do pickup truck things in the winter. If you’re towing snowmobiles in the winter, that 300 miles of range will quickly become 100 or less. No bueno. On a cold day with the tesla, my 290 miles quickly became 125. This will not be practical until the range is 800-1000 miles per charge. Hopefully enough people will buy them so they can continue to invest and improve the tech. Electric is great if you don’t drive a lot, but a pickup truck serves a purpose – that purpose can’t be realized with such limited range. Maybe if they build out a huge quick charge network, but we are many many years away from that.
🇵🇰👍🏻
Hows the center of gravity and turning? @marques, can you turn a little faster?
Great truck, however there are a few truck owners who use it for long trips that are usually 300+ miles. What’s the charging speed/options like?
I get 600 miles per tank on my f150.
5:16 and somehow this will become a selling point to some 🤷🏻♂️
haha a $96,000 work truck? That would be an insane purchase. You could buy two over priced Teslas for that and use one of them to just carry your tools.
The statement about the Mustang versus the F150 Lightning can’t be emphasized more. Ford flubbed the launch of the electric Mustang with that redesign…and that was a big mistake. They very much redeemed themselves with the F150 lightning though. They killed it. Just give people want they expect, but electric…that’s how we get to an electric future.
We have an F150 in our garage…and I would totally be on the preorder list if I could afford it right now.
I’m curious as to why the radio antenna isn’t the modern version. Just to keep it classic?
