I think that’s where the Silverado EV misses, looks nothing like a regular Silverado. Truck buyers are different from current EV buyers. They want familiar. Ford delivered, Chevy missed the mark.

Wrong analogy and wrong headline. When the iPhone was released it was a smartphone with a touchscreen built from the ground up. The F150 lightening is not an EV built from the ground up. It uses an existing modified gasoline platform from the regular F150.

When legacy auto manufacturers do this their EVs typically are way less efficient, have worse range and performance compared to a Tesla which are EVs built from the ground up.

If it was a iPhone of the pick up trucks, it wouldn’t power your house, wouldn’t have so many outlets, but maybe one usb port and the front trunk would be a disgrace of a notch.
