As a 6’4 guy, thanks for giving a true review of an EV. I’ve tried and I can’t give a comfortably good review of anything like a model Y EV. This is the first truly 6’4” friendly EV.

The thing stopping me from going electric isn’t the style. It’s the price. I cannot afford an electric car. No one had made one as cheap as the cheapest gas car. Don’t talk to me about tax incentives and all that. I live paycheck to paycheck. Money right now is what matters. How much is my monthly payment? That’s what I care about. I tried to get a cheap EV and my payment would have doubled. So, I got a new gas powered Civic and my payments went up about 15% which was right on the top end of my budget.

Unfortunately the battery and range get decimated when you carry any sort of load.

Most people probably won’t be affected by that but still good to know.

Scotty Kilmer has a pretty good video covering the F150 lightning.

As a driver of a older car (Late 2011) i dont understand why modern cars have electric lift / close of tailgates, these things worked fine when they were manual with gas struts and gravity. It just seems needlessly lazy to me.
