I think the only ball Ford Dropped with the Lightning is putting a charge port on both sides. The F-150 badges are already there, and it would allow owners to pull up to a charger in either direction, or park in their driveways in any which manner they choose.

this has a 131kwh battery and still a range of 300 mi? i thought it’d be at least 400 mi or more than 600 km range.

I’m glad that it looks like a normal car. I think a major reason as to why people avoid ev’s is due to how overstyled some look. The familiarity of this car with other regular vehicles makes it a lot more easier to consider.

Bit misleading of you to say this truck has the option to charge your house without mentioning the extra $4500 option you must buy to set up in your garage.
And if your circuit breaker is far from the garage……enjoy paying labor to that electrician.

That charging your home feature is a gimmick

Okay, just stop. I imagine you contracted with Ford for this video, but your statement @ 2:00. If it’s the most important, vehicle for the future shift, showcase the 40k model. We don’t know what model iPhone someone’s going to buy, but it’s not always going to be the most expensive one. These videos just gas light people.
