Just wait till the 15, EU just agreed to new USB-C on all devices proposal that’ll take effect by 2024. 2024 is when 15 comes so skip this unless you desperately want an “i” punch hole or generally have a really old phone.

Love or hate it – it is very clever business sense. Using the introduction of the larger screen standard iPhone to create a bigger step change and difference between standard and pro models going forward. iPhone 14 will have few upgrades(eg essentially same camera and processor) other than being available in larger screen. But there will be a big market for cheaper 6.7 standard iPhone sub $1000. No doubt Apple marketing will also present other “updates” well however technically minor.

I have a XS and am stuck whether to get the 13 pro max or wait for the 14 pro max .. especially if the 15 is going to be a big change… 🤔

I believe we’ve hit some sort of plateau. There really aren’t any changes that can be made that really make sense. Processor speed and ram speed are already so fast that we can’t possibly use all of its power. Even if we tried. I’ll be holding on to the 13 for the first time and not upgrading. Instead I’m picking up last years series 7 Watch to hold me over until I see what the 15 brings.

The camera bumps and the camera sensors sizes are not accurate I guess … as for the bumps to go away guess not in the near future specially when Apple uses periscope sensors in the upcoming models
