in my country base model is around 1600 $… 🙂 the 500 GB is 1900 $, if u want 16GB rams it goes to 2 200 $ and on and on

Hey friends, do you think the base model of m2 macbook air would be enough for coding or should I upgrade the ram to 16gb.
I’m an IT student and I do some tensorflow or pytorch python codes.
And the second question is, is it better to upgrade the ram or ssd, due to its slower ssd on the base model?

“OR” you can save yourself the nightmare and get a Gaming Laptop with a portable Laptop Charger. I have 2 $3000 gaming laptops that trash these MacBooks.

2.5 gb/s read and write is not slow bro, for someone who comes from an ssd hdd with 500mb/s read/write which was the go to ssd until M.2 SSDs came along and this was not too long ago.

2.5gb/s is incredible for new customers.

These are cheap machines that are a fantastic value. Absolutely no reason for someone to get the base model M2 MacBook Air. The base M2 selling for $1200 is a steal as is $1000 for the M1 version.

I have a iPad Pro 11 in 3rd generation, a iPhone 12. My current laptop is a dell vostro 5581 with 16 GB ram and 512 GB memory. I would like to go to a MacBook Air. Would this make sense and be a improvement for me?

I was gunna go for the M2 512gb. I have an old 2012 MacBook Pro so I need a new laptop for work. But after watching this video kinda seems like I should be fine going with an M1. Anyone agree an M1 would be a better move?
